Aquaponics
The Cornerstone of Scientific Innovation and STEAM  Education at MTMA

The Aquaponics Program at More Than Me Academy serves as the central pillar of our Scientific and STEAM education framework. This innovative program provides a living laboratory where students engage in the symbiotic cultivation of fish and vegetables, integrating principles of biology, chemistry, engineering, and mathematics. Through hands-on management of the ecosystem, students directly apply the scientific method to real-world challenges in sustainable food production. They learn to minimize waste by converting fish effluent into plant nutrients, optimize efficiency through water conservation and energy use monitoring, and analyze data to enhance system productivity. This experiential learning initiative transcends traditional education, empowering students to become innovative problem-solvers equipped with the practical skills and ecological consciousness needed to address global sustainability challenges.
